Debra M Hammitt, 61 of Belle Vernon, PA, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at home surrounded by her family.
She was born May 10, 1956 in North Charleroi, PA, daughter of Ruth Gash Wilkinson who survives from Belle Vernon, Pa.
Deb was a member of the Hungarian Club and Russian Club both of Pricedale, PNA Lodge 976 of Arnold City and the Belle Vernon American Legion.
She is survived by her husband Alvin Hammitt, mother, Ruth Wilkinson; two daughters, Lauralee Muto and husnband Sean of Cream Ridge, NJ and Leslie Lane and Boy fiend Ryan Shaw of Monessen, Pa. , sister, Tina Lint of Arnold City; two grandchildren Hudson and Madison Muto. Also survived by numerous nephews.
She was preceded in death by father, Jack Garber and, brother, David Wilkinson.
Family and Friends will be received Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 1 to 4 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA. (724)-326-5621, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Memorial service will be held Saturday at 4 pm in the Funeral Home with Pastor Eugene Spear officiating.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
