Dolores C (Dandrea) Smith

Dolores C Smith, 89 of Newell, PA, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 in Thorpe's Personal Care Home, Charleroi, Pa., surrounded by her family.

She was born December 22, 1929 in Newell, PA, daughter of Marco Dandrea and Anna Rocco Dandrea.

She was a member of  St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, Pa.

Dolores was retired from the former Belle Vernon Holiday Inn as the Head Maid.  The family would like to Thank the Staffs of Thorpe's Personal Care Home and Viaquest Hospice for the care given to Dolores.

She is survived  two sons, William M Smith, Sr., and wife Susan of Newell, son, Thomas R Smith, III and wife Diane of San Diego, CA.; , grandson, William M. Smith, Jr. and wife Leighann and granddaughter, Kelly S. Newcomer; four great-grandchildren, Owen, Eliza and Anna Newcomer and Charlotte Smith; one sister, Sunday Roth and husband William.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas R Smith, Jr. on December 1, 2012; three sisters, Mary Ann Chaplin, Eleanor Longwell and Janet Dandrea; three brothers, Joseph, William and Samuel Dandrea.

Family and Friends will be received Friday, December 28, 2018 from  2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., 3344 MainStreet, Fayette City, PA. www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com

Blessing service will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Fr. Francisco R Gan, Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow in the Little Redstone Methodist Cemetery, Fayette City, PA.
