Dorothy Sands, 80of Naomi, Washington Twp.,Pa., passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 in her residence.
She was born March 17, 1937 in Washington Twp., PA, daughter of Leonard Sands and Stella Daniels Sands.
Dorothy was a member of Lynnwood Lutheran Church, Belle Vernon, Pa. She was a retired Secretary for the Federal Government.
She is survived by her sister, Sandra Ambrose and husband Raymond, of Belle Vernon, Pa.; four nieces, three nephews and fifteen great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, Leonard Sands and Stella Daniels Sands and her sister, Shirley Conte.
A memorial service will be held December 1, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Lynnwood Lutheran Church, 900 Washington Rd. Belle Vernon, Pa., with Rev. Matthew Stabe officiating.
