Marion Lavada Bartolli

MARION LAVADA BARTOLLI, 92, formerly of Newell, Pa., passed away Tuesday, June 04, 2019 at Jefferson Hospital surrounded by her family.

 Born on April 21, 1927 in Irwin, predeceased by her husband, Membrain John Bartolli, her parents Andrew James Prost and Mary Ursic (Prost) Sivey and her stepfather Andrew Sivey.

 Marion was Catholic by faith and a member of the former Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Newell.  She loved cats, cross-stitching, playing cards, puzzles, watching golf and anything Dean Martin related.  She was a former member of the Newell Santa Barbara Ladies Auxiliary and bowled in the Newell women's bowling league.

 She is survived by three daughters; Christine A. Beck and husband Ronald Beck of Brownsville, Pa., Mary Celeste Liston and husband DeWayne "Eli" Liston of Grindstone, Pa. and Marion Lucas and husband James D. Lucas of Charleroi, Pa.; six grandchildren; Leanne May, Julia M. Turner and husband James, John W. Liston and wife Karen, Jaclyn N. Kordich and husband Daniel, James B. Lucas and wife Shannon, and Anna Marie Lucas; twelve great-grandchildren; Toni L. Ross and husband Steven, Douglas J. May III and wife Amanda, Taylor C. May, Susan M. Turner, Renee L. Turner, Elizabeth D. Liston, Stefanie L. Liston, Daniel J. Kordich, Jacob E. Kordich, Madeline E. Kordich, James W. Lucas, Jack L. Lucas; five great-great grandchildren; Logan M. Ross, Ryder A. Ross, Juliana G. Ross, Douglas J. May IV and Gwendolyn R. May.

 Family and Friends will be received in the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home, Inc. 334 Main St., Fayette City, Pa. on Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm.  Prayers of Transfer will take place on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:15 am in the Historic Church of St. Peter, Brownsville, Pa. with Rev. Fr. Timothy J. Kruthaupt as celebrant.

 Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Coal Center, Pa.
