Rev. Carl Frederick Smith, Sr.

Rev. Carl  Frederick Smith, Sr., 64 of Fayette City, PA, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was born August 18, 1953 in Santa Rosa, CA., son of  William A Smith Sr. and Katherine A Smith.  Carl is currently serving as the Pastor of the Fayette City Alliance Church and has been preaching since 1991.  He was also a proud veteran of the US Navy.

He is survived  by his wife, Michelle Dalke Smith; son, Carl Smith, Jr. and wife Toni of Kansas, daughter, Tracy Roberts of Wichita, KA;  sister, Ellen Ambrose of Idaho, brother, William Smith, Jr., sister, Susie Garcia, brother, Fritz Smith and sister, Deborah Smith all from the state of California.

He was preceded in death by father, William A Smith, Sr., mother, Katherine A Smith.

Friends will be received Friday, April 13, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Fayette City Alliance Church, 211 Connellsville St., Fayette City, Pa. Funeral services will be held at  3pm in the Church,  with Rev David Nagle officiating.  Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home, Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, Pa. 724-326-5621, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com.
