Anna (Usher) Arrow

Anna Arrow, 94 of Fayette City, PA, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013 in Country Care Manor, Fayette City, Pa.

She was born November 18, 1918 in Fayette City, PA, daughter the late of Harry Usher and the late Emma Aston Usher. She was a member of the Fayette City United Presbyterian Church where she had served as the Clerk of Session at one time. Anna was very active in the Fayette City community having served on Borough Council for many years, a Brownie leader, Probation Officer for Fayette Co.and many other youth activities throughout the years.

She is survived by three daughters, Georgia Moluski and husband Raymond of Belle Vernon, Pa., Gayle Semenko and husband John of Greensburg,Pa, and Darsie Lonce and husband Daniel of Perryopolis, Pa.; six grandchildren; Raymond E Moluski and wife Lori, Shelley Coneybeer and husband Jake, Jessica Semenko-Meli and husband Edward, David Semenko and wife Heather, Rebekah Lonce and Rachael Lonce; two great-grandchildren Dragen and Jakob and one sister-in-law Mary Usher.

She was preceded in death by husband, Geroge Arrow on August 27, 1987, whom she married on October 16, 1941; six brothers Harry, Fred,Arthur,David,James and George and three sisters, Margaret Thorpe,Elizabeth Odelli and Emma Yelanich.

Friends will be received Tuesday, September 24, 2013 2 - 4 & 6- 8 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA.724-326-5621,www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Funeral services will be held Weednesday, September 25, 2013 at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Michael Shepard officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Fayette City, Pa.
