Carol A Patterson

Carol A Patterson, of Fayette City, PA, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Thursday, June 11, 2015.

She was born August 6, 1935 in Washington Twp., PA, daughter the late of Earl B Marshall and Anna Brightwell Marshall.

Carol was a member of the Fayette City Christian and Missionary Alliance Church where she was on the board for five years and helped with the food bank. She was an avid reader and loved to travel. One of her most cherished memories is when she got to travel to England with all three of her daughters. She worked in the Donora mill for seven years and retired from Supervalu after 34 years.

She is survived by three daughters and son -in-laws; Robin Bongiorno and Mike of Coal Center, Denise Portman and Darryl of Fayette City, and Linda Keenan and Terry, with whom she made her home; seven grandchildren Michael and Lindsey Bongiorno, Joshua and Chelsey Bongiorno, Nicole and Gary Paterini, Matt Portman, Justin and Melissa Portman, David and Phillip Keenan. The loves of her life, great grandchildren, Kaitlin (Katie pie), Nikolas, Giovanna, Vinney, Nick, Anthony, Kayleigh, Logan, Harmony, Weston, and her companion Rascal.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, L. Dale Patterson; three brothers Jack, Warren and Neil Marshall and sister L. Mae Black.

Friends will be received Sunday, June 14, 2015 from, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., 334 main St., Fayette City, PA., 724-326-5621, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 15, 2015 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Carl Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Fayette City, PA.
