Che Jureze DuVall, age 70, died Saturday, February 6th, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital with his wife in attendance.
He was born on June 15th, 1945 in Danville Virginia, the son of the late Grace Nunnlley Ballard Wison. He was a Viet Nam Army Colonel, (Special Forces), who worked as a glass cutter until he developed COPD. He loved Fayette County’s hunting and fishing which were is favorite pastimes.
Surviving is his wife, Karen Cushenberry DuVall, three (3) of of four(4) children; Renee’ Ballard (Eric Baynes), David Ballard Sr. (Stacey Ballard), and Tiyonda DuVall. His son Christopher Jobere DuVall died at birth; Six (6) grandchildren; Jaquaye’ Brown, Anthony Brown, Jr. Tyree’ Brown, David Ballard, Jr., Ashley Ballard and Jazimine Brice; and five(5) Great Grandchildren; Ty’Onna Brown, A-Miracle Brown, Tyree’ Brown, Jr., Brooklyn Brown and Mackenzie Ballard.
There will be no public viewing. A memorial day will be held at a later date.
