David "Lumpy" Abbadini

David "Lumpy" Abbadini, 73 of Jefferson Twp., Fayette City, PA, passed away peacefully at home on June 1, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born May 23, 1951 in Brownsville, PA, son of Joseph Abbadini  and Yolanda Ross Abbadini.

He was a member of the Historic Church of St. Peters, Brownsville, Pa.  Dave was the Store manager at Brownsville Hardware before retiring and also worked as an operating room technician at the former Brownsville General Hospital.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.  He also loved family vacations and going to the casino.  The family would like to express special thanks to OSPTA Hospice for their kindness and wonderful care of Lumpy including nurses, Brittany and Ramona and aids Alyssa and Lacy.  

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jennie  Abbadini, daughter, Gianna Abbadini-Oakes and husband Jesse, grandson, Levi Oakes, granddaughter, Shallyn Oakes, brother, James Abbadini, brother, Joseph Abbadini, special sister-in-law, Mary Forsyth.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Orlando Abbadini.  

Friends will be received Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 pm at the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home, Fayette City, PA.

Blessing Service will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 7:30 pm in the funeral home with Rev. Fr. Efren Ambre  officiating.
