Dolores Helen (Rees) Rectanus

Dolores Helen Rectanus, 99 of Perryopolis, PA, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the residence of her granddaughter, Kathleen Rygie,l with her loving family by her side.

She was born February 1, 1915 in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late Harry Rees and the late Helen Senft Rees. She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, Pa.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Kathleen Rygiel and husband Stanley of Fayette City, Grandson-in-law, Robert Withers of Monongahela, Pa.; great-granddaughter, Jennifer Koliscak and husban Kevin, great-grandson, Dr. Gregory Buretz and wife Melissa, great-great grandson, Ryan Buretz, great-great granddaughter, Madelyn Koliscak, great-great grandson, Luke Koliscak and great-great grandson, Adam Buretz. Also survived by "the Girls".

She was preceded in death by her husband William Rectanus; daughter, Nancy Lee Luce and her husband Wayne, granddaughter, Susan Jo Withers, sister, Virginia Barbin and brother, Harry Rees.

Friends will be received Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 2 - 4 & 7- 9 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., 334 Main Street, Fayette City, PA.724-326-5621, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Prayer Services will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am in the St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, Pa. with Msgr. Roger A. Statnick as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, PA
