Dominic J Bartolomucci, Sr. 87 of Moon Twp, PA, formerly of Newell, PA, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013 in Heritage Valley Sewickley Hospital, Sewickley,Pa..
He was born March 27, 1925 in Newell, PA, son of the late John Bartolomucci and Nicolena Belli Bartolomucci.
He was a US Navy veteran of World War II. Dominic was a member of St Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, Pa. and for the last four years has also attended Felician Sisters of Coraopolis, Pa. He was a former member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church of Newell, Pa.
He is survived by his daughter, Joyce Bartolomucci of Moon Twp, son, Dominic Bartolomucci, Jr., and wife Georgia of Moon Twp., daughter, Lynne Feeney of Perryopolis, son, Richard Bartolomucci of Uniontown; sister, Nina Fedutes of Newell,Pa, sister, Genevieve Myrick of Belle Vernon and sister, Rose Wilson of Florida, granddaughter, Andrea McCoy, grandson, Dominic D Bartolomucci, grandson, Todd Feeney, granddaughter, Katelyn Feeney, great-granddaughter, Mikayla McCoy, great-grandson, JonMichael McCoy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Zeffe Bartolomucci, three sisters, Edith Girvin, Perina Palermo and Vera Dunsky.
Friends will be received Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 1-6 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home, Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA.(724)-326-5621,www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Blessing Service will be held Monday, January 7, 2013 at 9:30 am followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 am in St. Sebastian Church with Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick as celebrant.. Entombment will follow in the LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa with full military rites accorded by American Legion Post 295, 940 and 838. Members of St Sebastian parish will pray the rosary Sunday at 3:00 pm in the funeral home.
