Edward William Weisdack, Jr.

Edward W. Weisdack, Jr., 73 passed away peacefully at his Florida home October 13, 2023 after a long battle of cardiac illness.

A 1968 graduate from Belle Vernon School District and worked in Cold reduction at Irvin works plant US Steel for 32 years.  He shared 37 years of marriage with Kathleen Dorcon who passed away in 2006.

He lived life to the fullest, always lending a hand, he loved to entertain, vacation and ride in his corvette with the Golf Side Corvette Club. 

He is survived by his daughter Jamie Petroske (Bryan), son Brian Weisdack (Kristan), grandchildren Jordan Petroske, Abigail and Preston Weisdack, sister Norma Jean (Bob) Duvall, niece’s nephews, devoted family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward, Sr and June and his brother Robert (Rabbit) in 2021.

Friends will be received Sunday, November 26 from 1 to 4 pm in the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home, Inc.  www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com.

Memorial service will be held at 4 pm Sunday in the funeral home.
