Eleanor "Jean" Lofink, 85, of Belle Vernon, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2026. She was born on December 19, 1940, in Arnold City, Washington Township, a daughter of the late Joseph Francis Kuklar and Mary Mildred Kasuda Kuklar.
Eleanor graduated from Bellmar High School in Belle Vernon, PA in 1958 and was employed by Atlas Merchandising Inc. Charleroi, PA. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Church Handmaids and the Rosary Society. She belonged to St. Sebastian Church. She was a devoted Steeler fan, loved to cook and bake, but her main enjoyment was her loving grandchildren.
She was married to Thomas J. Lofink, Jr on August 6, 1960. They were married for 38 years when Thomas passed away on July 4, 1998.
She is survived by her children: Thomas W. Lofink (Diane nee Clark), Fairhope, PA; Dennis M. Lofink (Tammy nee Scheap), San Diego, CA; and Sheryl A. Benicky (Partner David E. Lamm), Fairhope, PA.
She also is survived by her grandchildren Thomas J. Lofink, Fairhope, PA; Leah
N. Lofink, San Diego, CA; Matthew T. Benicky and Katelyn S. Benicky, Fairhope, PA as well as Matthew and Katelyn's father Mark T. Benicky and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her sisters Evelyn Ferrero and Joan Sambula; brother John Kuklar; and grandson Robert M. Lofink.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 4-8 pm at the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home, Fayette City, PA.
Prayers of Transfer will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 am in St. Sebastian Church Belle Vernon.
Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, Pa.
