Erma (Varsel) Martello

Erma Martello, 89 of Monessen, PA, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016 in the Washington County Health Center.

She was born April 3, 1927 in Washington Twp.,Fayette Co., PA, daughter of the late Stanley Varsel and the late Helen Koslasky Varsel.

She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, Pa.

She is survived by her daughter, Emogene Gozdonovich of Donora, Pa., son, Stephen Martello of Monessen, Pa. three brothers, Charles Varseland wife Shirley of Spring, TX., brother, John Varsel of Detroit, MI and brother, James Varsel and wife Elaine of Venice, FL.; four grandchildren, Scott Gozdonovich, Magan Gozdonovich, Shannon Martello and Candis Martello; four great-grandchildren, Michael Carlson, Leland Carlson, Hunter Gozdonovich, and Mackenzie Gozdonovich.

She was preceded in death by parents;,three brothers, Edward, Thomas and Phillip Varsel, three sisters, Janice Vargo, Margaret Gladys, Helen Stanislaus.

Blessing Service will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Msgr. Roger A. Statnick officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, PA.
