Frederick R Mollard

Frederick “Fred” R. Mollard, age 60, of Perryopolis, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully on January 23, 2026, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital in Monongahela, Pennsylvania.

He was born on August 26, 1965, in Elizabeth, NJ. Fred lived life on his own terms and was known for being unfiltered, saying whatever came to mind—a trait that was simply part of who he was. He enjoyed hunting and playing guitar and had a deep appreciation for music, especially Jimi Hendrix and Ted Nugent.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert F. Mollard, who passed away on July 1, 2000, and Barbara A. Fekete Mollard, who passed away on July 26, 2023.

Fred is survived by his lifelong companion, Melody L. Sethman of Perryopolis, PA; his sister, Maryann Ruiz, and brother-in-law, Juan, of Bloomsbury, NJ; his nephews, Joseph and Justin; his niece, Roxanne; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Graveside services will be private and held at a later date. Interment will take place at Belle Vernon Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to Eley-McCrory Funeral Home or to his family to assist with final expenses. Any remaining funds will be given to a charitable cause to honor Fred’s memory.
