James Allen Chalfant

James Allen Chalfant, 69 of Monessen, PA, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 in his residence.

He was born September 27, 1945 in North Charleroi, PA, son of the late Hugh Chalfant and Lenora Tiernan Chalfant.

He is survived by his daughter, Denise Bailey of Monessen; sister, Dorothy Verin of Monessen; six grandchildren; Michele, David and Kenneth Girimonte, Crystal Chalfant, Craig Poe and Sabrina Hewitt; two great grandchildren Riley Williams and Robert Welch.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Renee Chalfant on March 16, 2011.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home, Inc. 334 Main St., Fayette City, Pa.
