Joanna I (Jurban) Pauley

Joanna I Pauley, 78 of Jefferson Twp., Perryopolis, PA, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the home of her daughter Michelle in Wellington, FL, surrounded by family.

She was born April 12, 1935 in Portage, PA, daughter of the late Michael Jurban and Xenia Mary Buriak Jurban. Joanna was a member of Lynnwood Lutheran Church having served as church treasurer and a member of the church council. She was a member of the Perryopolis Travel Club, having served on the board and a member of Hopwood Amvets Post # 103, Ladies Auxiliary. Joanna enjoyed traveling, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her two children, daughter, Michelle Oldham and husband Thomas of Wellington, FL and son, Edward Pauley of Centerville, VA; two granddaughters, Amanda and Ashley Oldham; brother, Joseph Jurban of Lake Worth, FL and sister, Susanna Suszko of Sterling Heights, MI.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A Pauley on March 17, 2013; two brothers, Michael and George Jurban; five sisters, Mary Wargo, Helen Hellman, Margaret Smith, Anna and Elizabeth Jurban.

Friends will be received Saturday, April 27, and Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 2 - 4 & 7- 9 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home, Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA.,724-326-5621,www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 29, 2013 at 10:00 am in the Lynnwood Lutheran Church with Rev. Jack Hernstrom officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Johnstown, Pa. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions maybe made to the Saint Michaels Lutheran Church, 1925 Birkdale Dr, Wellington FL 33414.
