Julie McKevitt, 81 of Brownstown,Fayette City, PA, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 17, 2013 in Dublin ,Ireland while on vacation.
She was born March 3, 1932 in Arnold City, PA, daughter of the late John Roskovich and Eva Madulick Roskovich . She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, Pa.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James McKevitt, three sons, Patrick McKevitt and wife Cheryl of harmony,Pa., James McKevitt and wife Annette of Monongahela, Pa., Brian Mckevitt and wife Kellie of Charleroi,Pa.; five grandchildren, Patrick, Erin, Jamie, Michael and Chase; great-grandson, Oliver McKevitt; brother, Charles (Chuck) Roskovich of Jensen Beach, Fl.. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews
Friends will be received Friday, May 24, 2013 from 2 - 4 & 6- 9 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA.724-326-5621,www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Blessing Service will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 8:30 am followed by a funeral mass at 9:00 am in the St. Sebastian Church with Msgr. Roger A Statnick as celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Connellsville, Pa.
