Lana K (Jobes) Martin

Lana K. Jobes Martin, 58 of Star Junction, PA, went to home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 15, 2015 in Select Speciality Hospital, Mckeesport, Pa. following a valiant battle with end stage renal failure.

She was born March 24, 1957 in Connellsville, PA, daughter of the late Donald Jobes and the late Geraldine koontz Jobes. She was a member of Flatwoods Baptist Church. Lana worked at the lunch counter of G.C. Murphy, co. in Uniontown, Pa., Metzlers in Laurel Mall and heritage Hill Christian Academy in Belle Vernon, Pa.

She is survived by her husband, Lester C Martin, II; daughter, Renee Martin at home; sister, Donna R Jobes and friend Joe Kovach of Uniontown, Pa.; brother, Kevin R Jobes and wife Tracey of Merritt Island, FL.; sister Kathy Scott and husband Larry (Butch), Jr. of Portland, TN; grandson, Dakota Martin at home. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant son, Thomas Edward Martin.

Family and Friends will be received Friday, October 16, 2015 from 7 to 9 pm, Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home, Fayette City, PA. 724-326-5621, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Additional viewing will take place on Sunday from 2 to 2:30 pm in the Flatwoods Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held in the church at 2:30 pm with Pastor Darrel Evans officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery, Perryopolis, PA. The family would like to express thanks to the staffs of Select Speciality Hospital, Mon Valley Hospital and Fresenius Dialysis Center, Charleroi.
