Laura (English) Nichols

Laura English Nichols, 91 of Fayette City, PA, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born July 23, 1934 in Fayette City, PA, daughter of Fred P English Sr. and Mary Ann Smith English.  

She was a lifetime member of the First Christian Church, Fayette City, Pa..

She is survived by her children, son, Robert Wayne Nichols, son, James Nichols, daughter, Phyllis Emerick, daughter, Janet Nichols, brother, Thomas English, brother, Daniel English, 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband Clarence Nichols, son, Larry A Nichols, son, Jack Nichols, four brothers, Fred English, Jr., Harry English, Robert English and William English, three sisters, Marjorie Breckenridge, Betty Williams and Ethel McKee.

Friends will be received Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8  pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home, Fayette City, PA. www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com

Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 5, 2026 at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor David Watson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, PA 15012.
