Lena J Boni, 91 of Perry Twp., Star Junction, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at her residence with her loving son and daughter-in-law at her side.
She was born January 14, 1926 in Donora, PA, daughter of the late John D'Egidio and Earnestine D'Egidio. Lena was the owner of Boni's Lounge and Motel on RT. 51 for many years until its closure. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis, Pa. Lena was the last surviving member of her family
She is survived by her loving son, Andrew J. (AJ) Boni and wife Suzanne and granddaughter Alexis Boni.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Andrew D. Boni.
Private Funeral mass was held at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church,on Tuesday March 28, 2017. Interment followed in the Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills, PA
The family would like to Thank Amedisys Hospice and Home Care for the wonderful care they extended to Lena. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home, Inc., 334 main St., Fayette City, Pa.
