Margaret (Davies) Book

Margaret Davies Book, 71 of Fayette City, PA, passed away Friday, November 6, 2015 in Mon Valley Hospital, surrounded by her family.

She was born May 12, 1944 in Fayette City, PA, daughter of the late Thomas Davies and the late Mary Brody Davies .

She was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Belle Vernon, Pa.

She is survived by her daughter, Penny Walters and husband Robert of Monongahela, Pa.; two sons, Charles D Book and wife LeAnna of Belle Vernon and son, Ryan Book and wife Carolyn of Wellsburg, WV.; nine grandchildren Braydon Book, Nicole Moyer, William Walters, Robert Walters, Natasha Book, Jennifer Book, Charles Book, Leah Grillo and David Grillo; three great-grandchildren Olivia, Damien and John; two brothers, Tom Davies and Louis Davies; two sisters, Mary White and Nellie Redmond.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles E. Book; six brothers George, John, Michael,Steve, Charlie Ferdora and Frank Davies; two sisters Anna Fedora and Margaret Davies.

Friends will be received Monday, November 9, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA. 724-326-5621, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Additional viewing will take place Tuesday from 9 to 10 am in the Holy Resurrection Church, Mary St., Belle Vernon, Pa. Funeral services will follow at 10 am in the church with Rev. Fr. Samuel Smolcic as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, PA 15012.

Panachida services Monday evening at 7:15 pm in the funeral home.
