Marie M (Pierotti) Galla

Marie M. Pierotti Galla, 93 of Perryopolis, PA, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born March 25, 1921 in Wickhaven, PA, daughter of the late Silvio Pierotti and the late Edna Nigra Pierotti. Marie was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis, Pa., St. John's Altar Society, Past Venerable of Roman Star Lodge # 1914, St. John's Goldenagers,Son's & Daughters of Italy Lodge # 730, Perryopolis and the Perry Travel Club. Marie will be best remembered for her fantastic catering business which touched the lives of many people from the surrounding area for numerous years.

She is survived by her loving children,daughter, Joyce Lynch and husband Donald of Perryopolis, son, Thomas Galla and wife Janet of Perryopolis, son, Paul Galla and wife Deborah of Star Junction, daughter, Karen Adams and husband Rick of Star Junction,daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Fenyar of Fayette City; grandchildren, Dan & Jackie Kordich, Craig & Deanna Kordich, Sarah Adams, Erick Adams & Fiancee Maria Marshall, Bill & Rhonda Lynch, Jason & Elaina Lynch, Brad & Jessica Lynch, Jennifer & Rob Palko, Aaron & Jen Galla, Amanda & Stephen Felsher, Michael Galla & Larry, Andrew & Lindsay Galla, Lauren Fenyar and fiance Aaron Krepps, Jocelyn Fenyar; great-grandchildren, Hannah Palko,Nathan Lynch,Daniel Kordich, Keith Palko, Matthew Kordich,Jacob Kordich,Maria Felsher, Nicholas Kordich,Brad Lynch,Jr., Madeline Kordich, Arabella Lynch,Savannah Lynch, Aaden Galla and Colton Galla; brother Peter Pierotti and wife Olga of Perryopolis, sister, Pauline Timko of Perryopolis, sister, Adeline Walkush of Belle Vernon, sister, Jean Ambrose of Belle Vernon sister Joan Beaumariage and husband Bill of Uniontown, sister Marlene Pope and husband Fred of Scottsdale,AZ; sister-in-law Joann Pierotti of Valparaiso,IN., sister-in-law Helen Patrick of Monessen, sister-in-law Ann Ziemba Of Alexandria,VA., brother and sister-in-law Gene & Vera Galla of Grindstone. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Andrew P Galla, grandson Donald Lynch, son-in-law, Michael Fenyar and two brothers Silvio and John Pierotti.

Friends will be received Sunday, April 27, 2014 from Noon to 4 and 7 to 9 pm & Monday, April 28, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA. 724-326-5621,www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Prayer Service will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 10:00 am followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 am in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis with Rev. Fr. Son's and Daughters of Italy Lodge # 730, Perryopolis will conduct services Sunday at 1 pm in the funeral home. Members of St John's parish will pray the Rosary Monday at 3 pm in the Funeral home for the departed soul of Marie Galla followed by a parish wake service at 3:30 pm
