Mark E. Brown, 63 of Fayette City, PA, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022 in UPMC Shadyside Hospital.
He was born September 28, 1958 in Charleroi, PA, son of Stephen K Brown and Mary Shimko Brown.
Mark was a member of the Fayette City United Presbyterian Church, Fayette City American Legion Brightwell-Daughtery Post # 484, Perryopolis VFW Gold Star Post #7023, Fayette City Volunteer Fire Co. and the Civil Air Patrol. He retired from the US Air Force with 23 years of service. Mark had worked at the BVA School District as a Van Driver and Security Guard.
He is survived by his brother, Kenneth Brown and wife Susan of State College, Pa., niece, Paula Anderson and husband Eric and nephew, Kenneth Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and Friends will be received Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 6 to 8 pm, Friday, April 15, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home, Fayette City, PA. www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Lay Minister Karen Zueger officiating.
American Legion Post # 484 and VFW Post # 7023 will conduct services Thursday evening at 7:00 pm in the funeral. Fayette City Fire Co. will conduct services Thursday evening at 7:30 pm in the funeral home.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Fayette City United Presbyterian Church, RR # 1 Box 526, Fayette City, Pa. 15438.
