Mary Jane (Tiernan) Bloom

Mary Jane Bloom, 78 of Jacobs Creek, PA, passed away, Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.

She was born September 16, 1937 in Fayette City, PA, daughter of the late Leroy Tiernan and the late Elizabeth Rodgers Tiernan.

She is survived by six children; daughter, Sandra Gilmore and husband Thomas, daughter, Charlene Carocci and husband Ronald, son, Charles Bloom, daughter, Wendy Bloom, daughter, Gale Kesten and Ed Unterseher, son, Arthur Bloom; sister, Elaine Shirley and husband Charles, brother, Jerry Tiernan and wife Peggy, sister, Debra Stuckslager and husband Larry, brother, John Tiernan and wife Ruth; 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Mary is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles L. Bloom; daughter, Mary J Bloom, son, Neil Bloom and brother, Melvin (Pete) Tiernan.

Family and Friends will be received Friday, April 22, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA. 724-326-5621, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Memorial service will be held Friday evening at 8:00 pm in the funeral home.
