Michael F. "Butch" Federer, 61 of Lowber, Fayette City, PA, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014 in his residence.
He was born September 10, 1952 in Brownsville, PA, son of the late Earl Federer and the late Anna Stevens Federer. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Fayette City. Mike was a member of the American SlovanicCitizens Club of Fayette City. He was a retired Bus Driver for the Belle Vernon Area School District.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Hawk Federer, daughter, Michelle Federer of Indiana,Pa.; brother, Earl Federer, Jr. and wife Mary "Tootsie" of Akron, OH. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Joseph Federer and sister, Joan Steele.
Friends will be received Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA. 724-326-5621,www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 8:00 pm in the funeral home with Rev. Wayne Boring officiating.
