Mildred "Mitzie" Backos, 65 of Arnold City, Belle Vernon, PA., passed away at home on Friday, December 18, 2015.
She was born January 28, 1950 in North Charleroi, PA, daughter of the late Stanley "Nappy" Semich and Helen Sudor Semich.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Toni Semich of Belle Vernon; niece, Kristen Semich of Belle Vernon;, nephew, Nicholas Semich of Las Vegas; Aunt Catherine Zebula of Belle Vernon. Also by numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Rudolph Sam Backos and brother, Stanley "Serb" Semich, Jr.
As per Mitzie's wishes Private funeral services were conducted for her family. Interment will take place in St. Elijah Cemetery, Aliquippa, Pa. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home, Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, Pa. (724)-326-5621,www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com.
