Mildred Barney (Aldridge) Bennett

Mildred L. (Barney) Bennett, 92 of Arnold City, Belle Vernon, PA., passed away peacefully Thursday, October 23, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born February 13, 1922 in Braznell, PA, daughter of the late Henry Aldridge and the late Ella Redmond Aldridge.

She was a member of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by three sons; Joseph Bennett and wife Patricia of Winston Salem, NC., Daniel Bennett and wife Donna of Monessen, and Dennis Bennett and wife Michelle of Belle Vernon; sister, Betty Joseph of Shelbyville, IN.; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Bennett, son, Robert Bennett; five sisters, Maude James, Edith Wolfe, Pearl Hamilton, Beatrice Coulson, and Irene Peto; three brothers, Theodore, David and Willard Aldridge.

Friends will be received Sunday, October 26, and Monday, October 27 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home, Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA. 724-326-5621,www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, PA
