Millard Leland Hare, 76 of Charlotte, NC, formerly of Fayette CIty, Pa, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in Mecklenburg Health Care Center, Charlotte, NC..
He was born October 8, 1937 in North Charleroi, PA, son of the late Jasper Hare and the late Kathleen Buttermore Hare.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Peggy J. Wilson Hare, son, Ty Hare and wife Sue of Ohio, son, Chris Hare of Virginia, son, Jay Hare and wife Lisa of North Carolina, granddaughter, Katy Hare of Pittsburgh, grandson, Matthew Hare of Ohio, grandson, Ryan Hare of Virginia and granddaughter, Rachel Hare of Virginia; sister, Cynthia Yeager and husband John of Evans City, Pa.; nephew, Brian Yeager and wife Marjory of Cranberry,Pa and nephew, Randy Yeager and wife Lacey of Butler,Pa.
Friends will be received Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 12 to 3 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home, Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA. 724-326-5621,www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm in the funeral home with Rev. Michael Shepard officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery, Perryopolis, PA.
