Nina L (Bartolomucci) Fedutes

Nina L Fedutes, 97 of Newell, PA, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 in Country Care Manor, Fayette City, Pa.

She was born January 28, 1918 in Monte san Giovanni Campagna, in the region of Frosinone, Italy , daughter of the late John Bartolomucci and the late Nicolena Bella Bartolomucci. She came through Ellis Island at the age of 2, and was a lifetime resident of Newell, Pa., where she was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She performed numerous volunteer activities in helping care for the church. In recent years she became a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Belle Vernon. Nina showered her family with love and expressed it to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with her loving kisses. Not only did they get one kiss, but many all over their tiny faces which they loved. Nina was known for her excellent Italian cooking and delighted in preparing her delicious gnocchi for her loved ones. She was a homemaker devoted to her family and will be dearly missed. She enjoyed shopping for the latest fashions with her family and watching the Pirates and Steelers games on TV. The family would like to thank the staff at Country Care Manor and Amedisys Hospice for their wonderful and compassionate care of our Mom and Gram for the last eleven years.

She is survived by her son, Charles S Fedutes, Jr. II and wife Geraldine of Perryopolis, Pa., daughter, Charleyne Calabro and her husband Richard of Wilmington, DE., daughter, Victoria Dunsky Simone and her husband Charles of Lawrenceville, NJ.; six grandchildren, Hyd Fedutes, Lori Murphy and husband James, Eyev Sadecky and husband Joseph, Lesli Brodner and husband John, Nicole Soule and husband Benjamin, Charles Simone and wife Shirley; 11 great-grandchildren, Colin, Joseph, Rachel, Caleigh, Jacob, IIyse, Samuel, Cara, Hannah, Christina, and Nicholas; two sisters, Rose Wilson of Pinellas Park, FL., and Genevieve Myrick of Belle Vernon, Pa. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fedutes, Jr.; four sisters, Amelia Bartolomucci, Perrina Palermo, Edith Girvin and Elvira Dunsky; three brothers Rocco, Ernesto and Dominic Bartolomucci.

Family and Friends will be received Sunday, March 1, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA. 724-326-5621, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Blessing service will be held Monday, March 2, 2015 at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral mass at 10:00 am in the St. Sebastian Church, Belle Vernon with Msgr. Roger A Statnick as celebrant. Interment will follow in the LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Country Care Manor, 205 Coldren Rd., Fayette City, Pa. 15438. members of St.Sebastian parish will recite the rosary at 3 pm Sunday in the funeral home.
