Pauline S (Stevenson) Peters

Pauline S. Peters, 92 of Newell, Pa., passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Country Care Manor, Fayette City, Pa..

She was born September 13, 1921 in Newell, PA, daughter of the late James Stevenson and the late Alice Parkins Stevenson. Pauline was a member of the former Our Lady of Prepetual Help Roman Catholic Church in Newell. Pauline loved to play bingo, build jig saw puzzles and listening too and watching the Pittsburgh Pirates.

She is survived by her son, Edward Peters and wife Margaret of Jefferson Twp., grandson, Chad Peters and granddaughter, Megan Peters; brother, Kenny Stevenson and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Frederick "Fritz" Peters in 1998, son, Paul F Peters in 2008; two brothers, Willis and Jerry; four sisters, Fanny,Norma,Mildred and Beverly

Friends will be received Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., Fayette City, PA. 724-326-5621,www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. A Blessing Service will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 10:30 am with Rev. Fr James Petrovsky officiating. Entombment will follow in the LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
