R. Clark Elliott, 68 of Jefferson Twp., Fayette City, PA, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 in the Emergency Room of Uniontown Hospital.
He was born August 15, 1947 in Connellsville, PA, son of the late Roy W Elliott Jr. and the late Claire F. Clark Elliott.
Clark was a graduate of Frazier High School class of 1965. Then he continued his education at Penn State University earning a Degree in Agriculture Business and Animal Science. He was a member of the Block & Bridle Club at PSU and also a member of the Livestock Judging Team and Farm Systems and Buildings. Clark's passion was the outdoors and farming for which he won many "Outstanding Farmer Awards" over the years. He was a Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. Clark was a member of the Little Redstone Presbyterian Church and the Elks Lodge in Charleroi, Pa., He was the former manager of the Agway Store in Waynesburg. Clark was a member of the US Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ronetta Peto Elliott; two children, daughter, Jennifer Ross and husband Chad of Coal Center, Pa., son, Roy Elliott of Carmichaels, Pa.; sister, Susan C. Elliott of Fayette City, Pa.; four very special grandchildren; Donny, Alexandra, Christian and Addison Ross, they were the twinkle in grand pap's eye; nephew, Robert Elliott and wife Elizabeth; nephew, Eric Elliott and girlfriend Krissy Bucci and great nephew Stephen Elliott. Also survived by numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Thomas M Elliott.
Family and Friends will be received Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 2 to 8 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA. 724-326-5621, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Memorial Service will be held Wednesday evening at 8:00 pm in the funeral home with Lay Minister Ross Ackinclose officiating.
