Robert "Bob" Jarabeck

Robert "Bob"  Jarabeck, 88 of Bridgeville, PA, formerly of Jefferson Twp, Fayette City, Pa. passed away Friday, January 9, 2026 in South Hills Post Acute Care.

He was born October 22, 1937 in Monessen, PA, son of John Jarabeck  and Sophia Gladys Jarabeck.

He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, Pa.  Bob was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Graham Jarabeck, daughter, Carolyn Wall and husband Mitch of Jefferson Twonship, daughter, Janice Walsh and husband Patrick of Pittsburgh, son, Robert Jarabeck, Jr. and wife Robin of  Fernandina Beach, Fl, son, Paul Jarabeck and wife Rachel of Mechanicsburg, Pa., brother, Leonard Jarabeck of FL., grandson, Robert Jarabeck, III, grandson, Benjamin Jarabeck, grandson, Jonathan Stofan, grandson, Patrick Walsh, grandson, Ian Walsh, grandson, Adam Jarabeck, great-grandson, Max Jarabeck, great-grandson, Jack Jarabeck, great-grandson, Benson Jarabeck.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received Monday, January 12, 2026 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home, Fayette City, PA. www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com

Prayers of Transfer will be held Tuesday at 10:00am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:30 am in St. Sebastian Church with Fr. Michael Thomas as celebrant.

Inurnment will take place for the family in Holy Name Cemetery, Monessen, Pa. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society in Bob's memory.
