Ronald Wade Burkholder, 61 of Newell, PA, passed away, Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in his residence.
He was born August 12, 1954 in Connellsville, PA, a son of Monica Pizzichetta Burkholder who surivies of Connellsville, Pa.
Ron was a retired Coal Miner and member of the UMWA.
He is survived by his mother, Monica Pizzichetta Burkholder of Connellsvile; son, Kyle Burkholder and wife Lauren of Belle Vernon,Pa.; three brothers, David Burkholder and wife Doris of Dickerson Run, Pa., John Burkholder and Brian Burkholder both of Uniontown, Pa.; girlfriend, Karen Hawk of Newell, Pa. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Burkholder and sister, Susan Turner.
Friends will be received Wednesday, November 4, 2015, from 6 to 9 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA. 724-326-5621, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com.
Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 9:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Robert Rabenstein officiating.
