Ruth E Johns, 90 of Perryopolis, PA, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014 in the Uniontown Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born November 1, 1923 in Coal Center, PA, daughter of the late Wilbur L Crable and the late Alberta F. Kent Crable .
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary L Johns of Uniontown, Pa., grandson, Steven Johns of Perryopolis, granddaughter, Katrina Johns of Uniontown and granddaughter, Ivy Johns of Perryopolis; sister, Louella McAngus and brother, Harold Crable both of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Johns, son, Henry W Johns and grandson, Henry W. Johns Jr.
Friends will be received Monday, January 20, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home, Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA. 724-326-5621, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Melissa Snyder officiating. Interment will follow in the Howe Cemetery, Coal Center, Pa.
