Ruth D (Dreyer) McCrory

Ruth D. (Dreyer) McCrory, 99 of Fayette City, PA, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 15, 2014 in her residence.

She was born March 23, 1915 in Glassport, PA, daughter of the late Frederick Dreyer and the late Blanche Sager Dreyer.

Ruth was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Fayette City, Charter member and Past President of the Fayette City Women's Club and a member of Brightwell -Daughtery Post 484 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by two nephews, Fred W Dreyer of Lockport, Il and Gregory P Dreyer and wife Pam of Chicago, Il; great-niece, Carol Dreyer of Chicago Il and her caregiver for the past several years Gale McCrory of Fayette City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard W McCrory on November 8, 1997; brother and sister -in-law , Fred W. and Betty Dreyer and her sister, Anne Dreyer.

Friends will be received Monday, November 17, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA. 724-326-5621, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Michael Shepard officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Fayette City, PA.
