Shirley L Lash Campbell

Shirley Louise Tennant Lash Campbell, 70 of California, PA, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014 in Mon Valley Hospital, Inc., Carroll Twp., Pa.

She was born December 30, 1943 in Greene Co, PA, daughter of the late Harold Clyde Tennant and the late Freda Bowers Tennant. Shirley was an avid Pittsburgh Pirate, Penguin and Steeler fan.

She is survived by five sons, David Lash and wife Laurie of Belle Vernon,Pa., Frank Lash and wife Renee of Newell,Pa., Timothy Lash and wife Melanie of Perryopolis,Pa, Steven Lash and wife Beth of Uniontown,Pa. and Joseph Lash and wife Jenny of Jacobs Creek,Pa.; thirteen grandchildren, David, Leslie and Lindsey Lash of Belle Vernon,Pa., Zachary and Andrea Lash of Perryopolis, Pa., Brandon and Derek Lash of Uniontown, Pa., Kelly Jo Lash of Fayette City,Pa., Kaylie Lash of Grindstone, Pa., Krystal and Katie Lash of Jacobs Creek, Pa., Jesse and Jerry Wassell; two brothers, Joseph Dale Tennant and wife Iris of Hiller, Pa. and Ralph "Gene" Tennant and wife Wendy of Smithfield, Pa.; two aunts, Georgia Lewis of Holbrook, Pa. and Virginia Thomas of Spraggs, Pa. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Campbell; two brothers, Clyde and Bill Tennant; great-nephew Christopher Keefer..

Friends will be received Monday, July 28, 2014 from 2 to 4and 6 to 8 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., Fayette City, PA. 724-326-5621, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor Jack Hernstrom officiating.
