W. Robert "Bob" Orr, 89 of Washington Twp., Belle Vernon, PA,, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at LaFayette Manor Nursing Home with his loving wife of 69 years by his side.
He was a member of Rehoboth Presbyterian Church in Belle Vernon. Bob's passion was farming on the Orr Farm, relaxing on his front porch and spending time with his grandchildren and dog Levi. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Florence Knight Orr; two sons, William J Orr and wife Elizabeth of Belle Vernon, Pa., Robert B Orr and wife Elaine of Smithfield, Pa.; brother James Orr of Belle Vernon, Pa.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William H and Gertrude Anthony Orr and his daughter, Kathleen Sue Orr.
Family and Friends will be received Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 2 to 5 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home, Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA, 724-326-5621,www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 10, 2017 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Kenneth Rockwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Rehoboth Cemetery, Belle Vernon, PA.
