Wayne (Spike) Workman, 71 of Jefferson Twp., Fayette City, PA, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in Beechwood Court Assisting Living, South Union Twp., with his family at his side.
He was born March 7, 1945 in Brownsville , PA, son of Earl Workman and Glenna Friend Workman. Spike was a member of the Jefferson Estates Golf League and the morning coffee club at Ricker's Market in Gillespie, Fayette City.
Spike is survived by his daughter, Glenna Cernuska and husband Ron of Morgantown, WV., son, Scott Workman and wife Andrea of Salina, MI; two sisters, Lois Mattey of Chalk Hill, Pa. Carol Magalotti of Smock, Pa.; five grandchildren, Brock Karolcik, Blake Karolcik, Johnna Karolcik, Bailey Workman and Owen Workman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Georgia Patton Workman on May 4, 2011.
A Memorial service will take place Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 4 to 6 pm in the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home, Inc., 334 main St., Fayette City, Pa. 724-326-5621, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com
