William F Deitch

William F. "Moon" Deitch, 82 of Arnold City,  Belle Vernon, Pa., passed away Monday, December 4, 2023 in UPMC Presbyterian.

He was born October 14, 1941 in Arnold City, PA, son of Floyd Deitch  and Ollie Benton Deitch.

He was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, member of Fayette City & Belle Vernon American Legions.  Bill was retired from the Municipal Authority of Washington Township.

He is survived by his brother, Ronald D. Deitch of Arnold City and sister, Sallie Deitch Fordanish of Charleroi.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received Wednesday, December 6, 2023 2to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home, Fayette City, PA. www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com

Funeral Services will be held at Eley/McCrory Funeral Home, Inc., December 7, 2023 at 10:00 am with Pastor Robert Prinkey officiating.

Entombment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, PA 15012. 

Fayette City American Legion Post 484 will conduct services Wednesday evening at 7 pm in the funeral home.
