William S. (Bill) Jolley 90, of Fayette City died peacefully in his sleep on January 24, 2020. Born in Fayette City on July 4, 1929 he was the son of the late Stephen Jolley and Mary Lindey Jolley.
Bill retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Allenport Plant. After his retirement in 1982 he then was owner and operator of Indian Waters Canoe Rentals in Tidioute PA for 25 years. He served his country as a member of the United States Navy during the Korean war aboard the USS Des Moines from 1950 to 1954. He was a lifelong member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church of Fayette City. Bill’s favorite pass time was hunting and spending time at his cottage in the mountains.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Margaret (Peggy) Jolley; his twin brother John T. (Jack) Jolley; and sister Esther Mc Cudden.
He is survived by 2 sons, Steven and wife, Linda Jolley of Warriors Mark PA; and Thomas Jolley of Fayette City; daughter, Kathy Sellew and husband Brian of Fayette City; sister Shirley Ferrara of Fayette City; and sister-in-law Betty Jolley of Belle Vernon.
Grandchildren Michelle Dreibelbis, Shannon Berry, Krista White, Jason Jolley, Thomas W. Jolley, Corina Repnik, Neil Sellew, Heather Sellew and Tyler Sellew.
Great Grandchildren, Katrina and Josiah Dreibelbis, Eli Berry, Mitchell and Trenton White, Arianna Jolley, Noah Schwartz and Van Jolley.
