Anna Mae Gallo

Anna Mae Gallo, 92 of Newell, Pa., passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 in McKeesport, Pa.

She was born July 20, 1926 in Newell, PA, daughter of the late Ralph Gallo  and Sarah (Sally) McCune Gallo. 
 
Anna Mae was a member of St. John the Baptist RC Church, Perryopolis and the former Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Newell, currently she is a member of the Historic Church of St. Peter in Brownsville, Pa.  Anna Mae was a devote catholic in teaching CCD for many years and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She was a beloved life long resident of Newell. Anna Mae retired from the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad in Pittsburgh, Pa.  

She will be sadly missed by her brother Alexander Gallo of Tyler, TX.; neice Jean Ann Gallo of Belle Vernon and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents Anna Mae was preceded in death by six brothers, Peter, Dominick, John, Ralph (Shay), Anthony (Ducky), and Joseph (JoJo) Gallo; three sisters Caroline Massari, Carmella Masterann and Catherine Gallo.

The family wishes to thank  family, friends and neighbors who gave their time to care for Anna Mae. Also the nursing staff at Mon Valley Hospital(5th Floor) for caring so much and OSPTA Home Care.

Family and Friends will be received Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA, 724-326-5621, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Blessing Service will be held  Thursday October 25 at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am in the  Historic Church of St. Peter, Brownsville, Pa. with  Rev. Fr. Timothy J. Kruthaupt as celebrant.  Entombment will follow in the LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.

 In Lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made either to St. John's Catholic Church, 3332 Pittsburgh Rd., Perryopolis, Pa. 15473 or the Historic Church of St. Peter, 118 Church St., Brownsville, Pa 15417.
