Barbara (Downer) Miller

Barbara  Miller, 71 a lifelong resident of Newell, PA, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital with her family at her side..

She was born April 22, 1952 in Morgantown, WV, daughter of William Downer  and Louvada Thompson Downer.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim Lynn and husband Paris of Kennedy Township, daughter, Kerri Jo Miller-Thomas and husband Bob of Newell, son, Kris Miller and wife Dawn of Newell; grandchildren, Mallory Miller, Miranda Lynn, Mattison Thomas, Paris Lynn, Robby Thomas, Vera Miller, Ben Nartic and Dan Nartic; great grandchildren, Aubrie Rankin and Maverick McVicker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry D. Miller; five brothers, Joseph Downer, William Downer, Kenneth Downer, Skip Downer and Baker Downer; three sisters, Cissy Lucas, Della Mische and Mary Bock.

Per Barb's wishes there was no viewing and private services were held for the family.
