Gary Alan Grant, Sr.

Gary Alan Grant, Sr., 77 of Rostraver Twp. PA, passed away, Monday, June  25, 2018 in Mon Valley Hospital.

He was born March 19, 1941 in Belle Vernon, PA, son of Clarence (Westy) Grant and Helen Fedorchak Grant.

He was a graduate of Bellmar High School and Penn State University. Gary was a retired engineer from Westinghouse Corporation, a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon and also a member of Centerville Sportsmen's Club, McMurray Riffle Club and Mifflin Rifle Club.  

 He is survived  by his wife, Margaret Grunwald Grant, three children; Gary A Grant, Jr. at home, daughter, Christine A Grant of Belle Vernon, Pa. and daughter, Saundra B. Marks of Gibsonia, Pa;  two sisters, Paige Ruby of Berlin, MD and Judy Martoncik of Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren, David Hayward, Michael Frasinelli, Lauren Frasinelli, Madison Frasinelli, Dylan Bradley and Timothy Bradley; two great-grandchildren, Emma Hayward and Aria Hayward.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and Friends will be received Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from  7 to 9 pm , Wednesday, 2 to 4 & 7-9 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home, INc., 334 Main Street, Fayette City, PA. 724-326-5621,www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com  Blessing service will be held Thursday, June 28 at 9:30 am followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 am in the St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Francisco R. Gan, Jr. and Rev. Fr. Douglas Peduti as co-celebrants.  Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, PA 15012. Members of St. Sebastian parish will recite the Rosary Wednesday at 3 pm in the funeral home.
