Margaret "Peg" (Potiseck) Beckner

Margaret "Peg" Beckner, 77 of Central City, Somerset Co., PA, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at In Touch Hospice, Somersert, Pa., surrounded by her family.

She was born March 4, 1943 in Madison, PA, daughter of John Potiseck  and Lila Jackson Potiseck .

She retired from the Daily American newspaper

She is survived by her five children; Howard McCrory at home, Becky Varley and husband Jon of East Palestine,OH, Victor McCrory and wife Sally of Somerset, Pa., Nancy Woolley of Somerset, Pa. Gale McCrory of Fayette City, Pa.; 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother James Potiseck.

Family and Friends will be received Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA. www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 16, 2020 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Wayne Boring officiating.

Interment will follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park, Greensburg, PA 15601.
