David O England

David O.  England, 79 of Monessen, PA., passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 in Mon Valley Hospital with his family at his side.

He was born August 30, 1938 in Bentleyville, PA, son of  David O. England, Sr. and Edna Barton England.

David was a member of the Fayette City Alliance Church, where he was very active with all of the churches activities.  He was a US Army Veteran, enjoyed hunting and was retired from US Steel.

He is survived by two brothers, Walter England and wife Barbara and brother, Robert England all of North Carolina; sister, Sylvia Dennihan and husband Michael of Dunlevy, Pa., mother-in-law, Ethel M Maxen of Fayette City, Pa.  David is also survived by numerous nieces,nephews, great nieces, great nephews and numerous cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Sue England on October 10, 2004 and father-in-law, Warren Maxen on March 16, 2014.

Family and Friends will be received Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, in the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home, Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, Pa. 724-326-5621. Additional viewing will take place on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 10 to 11  am in the Fayette City Alliance Church, Connellsville St. Fayette City, Funeral Ssrvices will be held at 11:00 am in the church with Pastor Carl Smith officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA 15033. www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com
